Notable Accomplishments & Transactions
Successfully represented the board of directors of Ho Hup Construction Company Bhd in a derivative action by the company’s shareholder. The matter is regarding road construction contract in the amount of RM 170 million with the government of Madagascar. Successfully defended the derivative action at the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Successfully led a reverse takeover of Cybertower Berhad, a listed company on Bursa Malaysia. Acted as a lead legal adviser for the corporate and share restructuring.
Represented a boutique developer which is a subsidiary of Acmar Group, a large diversified developer based in Klang in relation to a contractual dispute. Dispute is in regards to failure to perform construction contract in the amount of RM 40 million. Successfully obtained judgment in favour for the Defendant at High Court and Court of Appeal.
